The exhibit runs from October 3 through October 26, 2026. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This is a People’s Choice Award Show open to SVS members. Everyone attending the opening reception may vote for up to five favorite images. Votes will be tallied to award 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and Honorable Mention. All winners will be announced the same evening.

Registration
All registrations are handled online and are due by noon on Friday, September 18, 2026. Registration opens August 26th, 2026.
An email address is required. No registration will be available at drop-off.
Drop-Off & Exhibition Location
Photographs will be dropped off and exhibited at the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society, 858 West Fourth Street, Williamsport, PA.
Drop-off times:
Monday, September 28, 2026 – 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM (before the SVS monthly meeting)
Tuesday, September 29, 2026 – 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM (hanging begins at 5:30 PM)
Entries
You may enter up to four (4) photographs. First- and second-preference entries are guaranteed to hang. Third- and fourth-preference entries will be selected by the Show Chairperson based on available space; you will be notified if an entry is not hung.
This is an unrestricted competition. Members may present their photographs as they wish. There are no restrictions on color or black-and-white, frame style, number of mats, or materials (metal, acrylic, canvas, and traditional prints are all welcome). Unframed work is also accepted provided it meets the safety requirements below.
Overall size may not exceed 30 inches on any side.
Creative presentation is encouraged. Both presentation and photography will be judged by the public.
For safety reasons, all entries must meet the Conditions for Entry listed below.
The Show Chairperson has final authority to determine whether any photograph is appropriate for display. Entries deemed inappropriate may be declined or removed at the Chairperson’s sole discretion.
Conditions for Entry
Entries must be your own original work. Work previously shown in an SVS exhibition is not permitted.
All photographs must have a professional appearance and be “Show Ready.” Every piece must have a sturdy wire attached to the back for hanging. No other hanging methods will be accepted unless pre-approved by the Show Chairperson.
For safety reasons, no sharp edges, exposed glass, saw-tooth hangers, or pieces with compromised structural integrity will be accepted.
Every entry must have a unique title provided at online registration. “Untitled” is not a valid title.
Submission of an entry constitutes agreement with all exhibition rules. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the Show Chairperson.
Although every care will be taken, the Susquehanna Valley Shutterbugs cannot be responsible or liable for loss or damage to entered work.
Fees
A non-refundable entry fee of $5.00 per image applies, with a limit of four (4) images per member. If space limitations require exclusion of a third- or fourth-preference entry, you will be notified. Student entry fee is half price ($2.50 per image). Please make checks payable to Susquehanna Valley Shutterbugs.
Pick-Up
Photographs may be picked up on Monday, October 26, 2026 during our regular monthly meeting. No photographs may be removed from the exhibition prior to closing.
Anyone unable to collect work on the assigned date will have one week to pick up their photographs during normal museum hours. After that period, unclaimed work becomes the property of the Susquehanna Valley Shutterbugs.
