My interest in photography began in 1980 when I purchased my first camera, a Canon AE-1 35mm film camera. At the time film was expensive and setting up my own developing lab was out of the question. In 1996 I purchase my first digital camera a Kodak DC-40. Digital photography along with my passion for computers seemed to be the perfect fit.
My passion is Street Photography.

Wayne Palmer, Vice President
Wayne Palmer is one of the original founders of the Shutterbugs and has held each of the officer roles.
He has had a lifelong relationship with photography starting almost 50 years ago. Through college he spent more time in the darkroom than the classroom and was the photo editor for both newspaper and yearbook for Bloomsburg State College.
Wayne was an account executive for Guardian Photo before launching out on his own, starting Palmer Multimedia Imaging. He was early user of Photoshop and currently beta tests the product as well as Lightroom, Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw, Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements. Wayne has served as technical editor on 15 book titles and is co-author of Photoshop Restoration and Retouching 3rd and 4th Editions. He teaches Photoshop and digital photography classes at the Workforce Development Center of the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Bob Haefner, Secretary
Bob’s journey in photography started in 2000 with a simple disposable 35 mm camera and a desire to show people the sights from a trip to New England. Since then he has tried to learn everything he can to improve his photography. He particularly enjoys landscape and wildlife photography, but lately has been trying his hand at portrait and sports photography.
Bob started with the club in 2010 looking to learn more about photography. He has been on the show committee and held the positions of secretary, vice-president, and president.
